Arrow New Problem

Ok, this morning I hook up my other battery pack I built last night and when I put it on the charger it tells me "No Battery".

What do you think might be the problem. I have looked them over and all the bars are connected well and in the right manner. Does this sound like a charger or battery prob? The other pack I built last night charged up just fine. HELP!!

Hi AE_T4,

Based on your previous message, you said that you have Quasar Pro charger. Check to make sure that all the leads are connected to the alligator clips. I used to have one of those chargers and when one of the wires came off, it said "No Battery". As soon as I soldered it back on, things were fine.

Try charging another pack to see if you get the same error.

Also, if you have access to a voltmeter, you can check the voltage of the entire pack or each cell just to make sure everything is in order. Sometimes, even if a cell looks like it is soldered on correctly, it may not be. The voltmeter can help you identify this and find which cell is the culprit.

I hope this helps.

rtypec- thanks for the reply.

When I put my other pack on the charger again it works just fine so I think that rules out the wire leading to the charger not working.

I dont have access to a voltmeter but I will check my solder joints again carefully as this seems to be the logical explination. They lookand feel solid but I'll look em over. I hope this is the problem!

any hints as to the May specials???

I am ordering either tomorrow, or maybe Saturday if you hint that I should wait!!!

I was going to order minimum of 5, maximum of 8 (can't decide) of the .164-.169 matched 6 loose and get the deans bars for free. Plus an 8 cell battery case.

Or maybe bulk specials? I have two other people wanting 4 packs a piece.
