Hehe - Nice. Nope, everythings good. The reason I say I have more money is cause I don't have to pay for everything all the time now. It's all in one account now.

I am planning on buying some of the Pro-Match 4-cell packs. I would like to get some of the Factory cells and a 1.165- 1.169 pack just for practice. I just have a couple questions before I make the purchase...

I notice that these cells are at a 5.0AMP charge rate... What is the difference between the 5AMP and my SMC's 6.0AMP charge rate? Any advantages or disadvantages?
Obviously I will be using these packs for 12th scale, I was just curious what amp do you charge these Pro-Match packs at for 12th scale stock? Does the 5.0 Amp on the cell me the recommended charge rate?

Thanks,
Aaron

IMO I feel the 6amp charge may exaggerate the voltage numbers but again thats my opinion. When I ran 1/12 scale I charged my packs at 4 to 4.5 amps to get more MAH out of them. I don't think you can go wrong either way since it will always come down how manage your "juice" during the run.

Default LRP Pulsar 2

Hi,

I just purchased the LRP Pulsar 2. What setting do you reccommend for discharging and charging 4 cell packs. Thanks

Sorry Ginsu, I would use 4 amps and try around 15mv per cell (you could start lower and ease it up to get the cells warm enough if needed). I wouldn't discharge with it, instead a 20 amp bulb type discharger will be fine to pull the remaining juice out and then tray them if you like( I would tray before hand also). If you can find a Pro Match tray use it if not go with the Novak tray it is great also.

It is good I guess,LOL, I haven't been able to race in almost 2 months, LOL I plan on trying to hit the rug after the first of the year. The only racing I have been able to do is 1/18 scale carpet here and there. locally.
