whats the cut off for the trinity real time discharge tray???

The tray discharges down to .9 volts per cell. That tray works awesome ive used mine for 2 years now with no problems what so ever.

To the best of my knowledge, unless you're talking about somethimg different than what I have, the Real Time Tray will take each cell to ZERO. That is the purpose of this tray. It has no cutoff.

take the tray apart and you will see that it is only a fancy box with 6 resistors mounted inside
the light blubs are the cut off device!!!
they go out at 0.9V i guess
that's why they suggest the user to remove NiMH packs when the lights go out, but not sure how the euqalizing part is done if the lights do not all go out at the same time since all the tray is still discharging all the cells as long as the cells are on the tray connected

The lights are not cut off devices. The tray takes cells to ZERO.

When the light goes out, that cell is at .9V. Just unscrew the poles on that cell and wait for the others. Simple

Exactly what Claydoh said, and it will increase the voltage and runtime and it's life. My friend told me to start using it so i just started to use it a month ago and starting to notice a little difference in the older packs from spring.

just wonderin but when they say until the lights go out is it the whole light or when its really really dim?

HeY!!!
I normally unscrew the connection from the screw to the cell when the lights out but sometimes maybe when it's so dim you can't even notice it it's on.

when the lights go out doesnt mean it's at .9...it just means the cell is dead to the part where it couldn't even light the bulb anymore...but if you leave it there it will dake it down to zero...the tray doesnt have a cutoff....like what fire said "it is only a fancy box with 6 resistors mounted inside"....
i usually discharge my cells a day before the race and i watch each cells with a volt meter and stop discharging each cells on the same numbers that i read on the volt meter....that way i know its discharged down evenly then charge them back up fully....then on race day i just peak them and use them on the practice to get them warmed up and the re-charge them for the race...haven't got a problem with my packs falsepeaking or dying on the race...and i think it's actually getting better each time

thats a good idea hooking up a volt meter to it

i just did a test and i found out that when the bulbs are out the voltage drops down all the way to 0.4
to get 0.9 results... just when the blubs start to get dim you take em off and you should have 0.8-0.10 results

i usually short them out down to .1 when cycling and .9 when discharging for the race...
