last time i checked with my lhs, u can use none other than OS. btw, os plugs last a lot longer than my nova normally.

how does it perform? as compared to say the normal 12TZ 5-port?

as what i've seen here, normal xz outrun 5port tz at bottom end and less punchy on top. im not sure if its the real engine power or maybe it's because of the difference in car ratio.

XZ speed and TZ speed specII, i use hec pipe and EFRA2503 with novarossi 41625 conical manifold, slightly on the hot side but it really push mid end.
another friend uses SAGE pipe set,nice power band overall.

Here's some good info if you are attending this years on-road nats:

We all know the 1050 pipe works the best with the OS speed 12 XZ, but the pipe is illegal at ROAR events (IFMAR & EFRA legal though)...some BS about stringer length, sounds like they have a person problem to me. Anyway, I tested the Mugen MSR .12 #P01004 pipe this weekend with the OS manifold that comes with the 1050...it fits, is ROAR legal and works awesome. Maybe even better.

I have never tried it, but I think a few US Mugen drivers are using it.

what is your problem then, if you use in OS engine ex:XZ should be fine since it came with RP6 and i have put RP6/RP7 to Speed XZ/Speed Spec II/TZ 5 all fine plus more top end

i use it with great success. 2nd place A-main state title for 8 months old experience. should be convincing enough if u run at tropical climate
