Diffs didnt have problems it was the bearings on the diff pinions that were wearing quickly. The new kits have a small aluminum spacer in between the bearings that solves the problem completely.

I drive the 808 and love it. It is just about as indestructible as they come and it handles fantastic to boot.

The Mugens are great buggies too. I personally don't care for the the PBS steering but there are others that swear by it.

I think you are picking between the 2 best choices out there so you cant go wrong either way.
