I really admire you guys for not giving in to temptation on trying the prototype at international races knowing that the 710 is a better car than the 705. You guys are cool !

Almost; the standard front shaft with one-way bearings can be locked by using the optional set #802252; in this set are 2 pins to lock the front shaft (there are 2 holes in the shaft and holes in the 2 driveshaft adaptors and an alu bushing to slide over the pins). Pictures in the product-section soon.

So I guess you need to buy the optional part that locks the one way front.

The shocks are the same as the 705. The yellow springs in the pics look the same as the ones from the 705. But in the FAQ, it is mentioned that there are going to be new optional springs.
Maybe the Serpent guys can shed some light on these new springs for the S710?

We don’t had changed the springs, or the shocks.
They are still the same.
In the kit will be the yellow springs.
The Springs we have as optional are :

Soft : Orange
Middle soft : White
Middle : Yellow (in the kit)
Middle hard : Red
Hard : Blue

I would imagine all new gear tools will be coming our way also.,Right?.....(pinion gear holder, trans gears,etc?)..

is it still possible to use a HUDY set up with the rear suspension?....

will gear diffs ever be an option?...And how soon will that front ball diff be available?..Reason I ask is that on most of our tracks, one ways don't work well.....and the solid axles don't give enough low sp turn in...

cool!! Thanks for the pulley info.I just punched it in my ratio calculator

front 1.8421
rear 1.875
difference 1.0179 on same mm tyres

I like the slight over drive to the front of the car I run a 1.0255 (same size tyres)right now and love it

I'll have to mess with some pulley configurations to see what all I can come up with with all the different pullies I have should be fun

Yes, there will be a new pinion gear- and clutch housing holder.

We are also use the Hudy setup-Tool. There will no problem to use it.

At the moment we had not planed to make a gear diff.
I don’t know exactly, when the front diff will be available.
But it will not take long time, because we also know that a one-way or a solid axle doesn’t work on every track.

We redesigned the pulleys to have a better fit on the adapters. This means you won't be able to use the plastic parts of the old pulleys. The new ones run truer and will not devellop play as easily as the previous ones.

Also with the new sizes the belts run over larger diameter pulleys (especially the front belt) which makes them last longer and run smoother
