Wouldnt the using softer tires mask any setup problems you may have?

Sure, you may see the conning of the tires quicker, but thats not a real good indication of what the suspension/chassis etc is realy doing.with the corect tires on it.

Are you using the right C clip? I believe you need the 5 mm (R5) one.

the rear springs require more preload for ride ht because they have more leverage on them from the suspension arm, has to do with the shock being mounted on the arm instead of on the upright, same deal with the lsa conversion, this is also why large numbers of you have gone to the red rear springs to help loosen the rear of your cars.. make it feel like the old car.

The problem is not the tweak, in fact.
I try to explain better; my question is : When I lift the rear, is it ok if the rear springs become ‘uncompressed’ before the wheels lift the surface? Seems that the preload is not enough to ‘push’ the suspension arms down until the stop (done by the downstop grub screw, I mean).

what are you running for rear droop, I very very rarley ever run less than +7 rear droop, that is 7mm above the chassis

the spring should be plenty long to push down, very very odd, with my spring couplers at the yop of the threads it pushes my arm to the grub screw,?? not sure.. can you posta pic?
