I would doubt we will see anything before the 4th quarter of this year, that is if they are even rolling one out at all.

This is a worlds year, so you have to figure any prototype would be premiered at the Worlds and then roll out after that. The B4 is still among the best in its class, I don't see the rush to bring out a new one.

Horizon has them in the warehouse so I would put this rumor to bed. Just about everyone was out of them but it looks like there shipping again.

AE seems to be busy with the 8t, sc8, sc10 and upgrades for the first two...and electronics for that matter for the Erc8 conversion...the b4 and t4 seem to still be modern and competitive...They may be waiting for the other companies to make a move and release something new...

I don't see why they would replace the B4 and T4 right now, they are some of the top cars out and still winning races all over the world.

Because everyone already has a B4/T4. Nobody has a B5/T5... We will all buy whatever they make, so that's why they would replace them, even if they are all winning.

All speculation, but I think they could do worse than redesign around brushless / lipo. It was mentioned by someone in one of these threads a month or so ago, and a good idea.

If they where to redesign the B4/T4, thats what they would do is make so it accepts brushless/lipo system for better handling charactersitics.
