True, Tamiya parts are much easier now to get but, when we were starting out a few years ago... it was a headache.
Now Harsh... if the MRE doesn't work out for you and you stay with Corally... I got dibs on the MRE
Talked to Fred today at Tamiya USAs track. He said they would have them in about a week or two and don't plan on them being more than $450 - $470 US at local hobby stores. He said they should weigh about the same as the MSX, and will be TCS legal for this year.

I'll sell it as kit spec, with Ti screw kit, TA05 pulley conversion and Tamiya spool (with the steel outdrives), ALL roll bars, White belts, and spares.
Any offers? I'm thinking about the £180 - £200 range.
I'll get some photos up tomorrow.
Cheers

Just buy the TA05 spool and take the steel outdrives off that and put it on the 415 spool. Direct fit. I use the steel outdrives on my EvoIV Tamiya spool as well.

thanks, i'll give that a shot. glad to know it works for the EVO IV as well, as i've snapped a few of the plastic outdrives on the tamiya spool.

Kilruf beat me too it...
they don't really weigh much more than the delrin outdrives, and are have 4 slots at 90deg, so you swap over when one starts to wear
I think Champ can get the outdrives seperate, not entirely sure though.

Post pictures of your progress...more so the differences Please. I haven't open my kit yet or the box it came in. I might Shelf it.
Could you confirm the axles in the kit is it a Dual Diff w/Spool?

damned belts !!!
It's normal or not ?
My black rear belts during only 3-5 runs !
Anyone have a tip for me ?
My layout : TRF415MSX with TA05 pullies (central, rear ball diff, front spool), foamies with high grip track and powered by a Novak 4.5R.
I think the problem is that the drivetrain is not capable to manage high power with high grip conditions without to ruin the belts (rear in particular) .
Other cars (Yokomo, Corally RDX, T2) in similar conditions, don't suffer the same problem of my 415.
I have lost my last race for these damned belts !!!
I am tired to change 2~3 belts for every racing day !
Please help me, if you can.
Thx in advance to all.

RE:DAMED BELTS!
That's strange that the rear belts would be a problem. Most racers had issues with the front! The obvious question would be the amount of belt tension. To loose of a belt or to tight would also cause this problem. Make sure the notches are in the same location on the left and right side! Other than that I wouldn't have a clue why? By the way where are the notches set at?
