I am building my 2nd 415 up tomorrow with a set of clipped belts on it, spent a few min today clipping a spare set of belts so i will build it and compare it to my other one with standard belts on then go from there. Rick

By clipping, do you refer to removing teeth??
If so how many??? Every 2nd??
As far as I know that leaves you with two teeth together at the end, doesn't it???

Instead of clipping the belts you could try removing every other tooth off of the front pully like the Xray guys are doing.

Yes i have taken every other tooth off the belt and left 2 at the end so i just left these. I checked with the losi drivers and this is what happens when they do it. I have loads of spares so i might try the pully mod as well. Rick

hey guys.. ran the 415 today at the test facility at Tamiya USA.

ran it with a 19T. the car ran great. i used the stock set up, although it needs a bit of tweaking to get the car dialed, it was a good starting point. the car was set up good enough to enable me to run 6-7 batteries. it was a lot of fun.

the car has a lot of rip! definitely a fast car. more testing next saturday.

Default Still waiting

Sounds like too much fun. I want to play with mine. I hope it gets here this week. LHS said Wednesday but I’ll believe it when I see it.
