Just a few complaints so far...with all the fancy machining on the bulkheads you would think that Tamiya would incorporate some type of Key system between the alum pieces to square the pieces....way too many screws...which are too soft of a metal.

Other than that, I still love my $1 million touring sedan
i need to order me a set.....show us a pic of your car when you are done,i do agree,i have heard that the screws are too soft.....

I'm glad I bought mine from Japan because they are a nice T-shirt.
I purchased one from Japan and one from HK - And neither had a T-shirt!! And before you ask - it was a slight mix up which is why I now have two MSX upgrade kits!

But if anyone is interested in the spare then its here - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MESE%3AIT&rd=1

(still trying to sort my motor over heating problems..)

Can some people give me some idea's of what final gear ratios they run for indoor carpet?

What do you guys think about running white springs in the front with 6owt. and blue springs in the rear and 50wt, for carpet with foams. Should I not run any sway bars front or rear?

That's what we use for rubber on carpet, probably a bit soft for foam. Tamiya do grey and purple springs, which are respectively 20 and 24lb and should be better.

I run Tamiya blue springs with 60 wt oil and Jaco double pink/orange tires on the front and yellow springs 45 wt and double pinks on the rear. It might not work for you , but for me on an ozite track the car is hooked up !

it also depends on what class you run (27t, 19t mod) for 19 turn on a 96 ft straitaway is a 30mm rollout, give or take

That's not a good ratio that. You should be looking between 6.5 and 7.5 ish, and you have 7.8. I'd say start with 7 and see what it gives.

That gear ratio is fine, as long as you are running it in your bath tub!!
Just a tad high!!!!!!

Has anyone tried the white TA05 diff gear/oneway gear for the 415? What would it do?
