Default Gear ratios

Hi Guys, this thread is the closest one to a 414 M2 thread I could find.....what is a good ratio, ie: spur and pinion to start with for the 414 for stock. I am using 48 pitch only. I currently have an 88 tooth spur and 23 pinion in it. I think it is a bit high though. I would like to run about a 94 spur (or so) with the same pinion. I just bought the car 2nd hand and as of yet have no manual for it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Guys im in need of some major help.

today i installed my speedtech spool and the fixed centre pulley but i couldnt seem to get the car going round the track right. it seemed when i turned and locked, the spool would look up with the front drive shafts and would make a funny rattling noise and my back end would just swing round.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG

please let me know

I think it's common. One reason why I don't run them. You can only reduce it but not get rid of it. At least I haven't found a way. Try moving the arm spacing all the way back up front. Try C/A blocks. And reduce your dual rates for less chatter. This is about the best I could come up with.

Hey FBJ!

where do you get spare parts for your 415? they don't seem to have any at lil's except the pulleys also, are you gonna replace your 415 with the monster when it arrives?

So Far, I haven't broke anything yet (so far....hehehe) Yup, I'm ditching the 415 when the MY02M arrives. Though they are same in geometry and all, I like the Tech kit coz it will have parts support plus I am sure I will find something new and interesting with the Monster. I had fun and ran well with the standard MY02 and I can't wait to run the new M. I'm keeping my R3 for Stock and 19turn class. Monster for MOD

The MY02 Monster chassis is nice, I thought they only released it as a conversion and not a full kit.

What is the website for the tech car? Although I will probably end up finding it on my own before someone posts it.

Default Monster

The MY02M is no where near the conversion kit for the MY02, i purchased one 3 weeks ago and it did not have 3d cuts on the battery and the chassis does not appear to be like a CF effect but still good it looks like same chassis on what was used in teh trinity switchblade 10.
