Paul, this is common with the rear optional hubs. Just shim it accordingly.
The Kai chassis also looks like Masami's Yokomo Chassis that he ran for the Japanese Nationals. Hardly any cutouts... just milled down low.

I just saw the German guy who made the custom oneway for the EVO3 makes an aluminium front diff for the 415 now.
Donīt know anything about prices yet. But anyone interested should send me a PM.

Aluminium rear uprights
Hi,
I was just wondering if someone could tell me the advantage (in terms of handling) of Tamiya's aluminium rear uprights (option part for the EVOIII) which has the ball connector on top rather than the middle. I understand that it can also be used on the 414, 415 and TA04 series.

Hi Guys,
I ran my 415 for the first time today. Really nice to drive apart from a general lack of steering
I'm going to try the turned upside down A Mount and C Mount at the front of the car but I'm a little confused as to how this gives me more steering?
Is it the adding/removing of spacers under the upside down A Mount that allows for the tilting of the arms (increasing caster)??

Lack of Steering???!! Not here... Where are you lacking? Goin in? Coming out? Mod? Stock? 19t?
The aluminium rear hubs gives more tuning options. 3 verticle holes as opposed to 2 horizontal. Plus you can shim them as well. Plus they are 1° as opposed to the stock 2°. So you can get less caster with D Block in the rear.

Mod, Going in... pushes really badly
I changed the front end to softer shocks settings (spring and oil), angled the tops in, increased front toe out and also reduced the rear toe. It made it better but some more is still required. Figured I'd try playing with caster next.
I'm also keen on getting those rear uprights but I cant find anyone with these in stock.

Lycan,
Try sweeping the front arms; inboard toe out. Also I noticed a big improvement in steering by playing with the wheelbase, not too much though as the car will be twitchy. You might also want to adjust the droop on both ends.

I'd play with the rear droop. Let the arms hand down alittle more. I ran a 10x1 KR for practice for Stock Class. Car had some push too. So I just pulled all the droop screws out in the rear. Seemed to help. Plus I went from White/Front Blue/Rear Springs to Yellow Springs all around. This helped too.
I really like how easy the car is to drive in Mod. This is the first time running a mod in this car. It's pretty easy to tune too. I'll try it out some more next week.

SD vs 415
Right now I am runnng a SD that has about half the Rayspeed kit.
I am lucky enough to live fairy close to Tamiya and it would be cool to be able to head out there on Saturdays. Anybody have both cars and can give me a comparison?
