Tamiya TRF415
The car was ki;;er yesterday and I only see it getting better for the next time out. I made a bunch of changes throughout the day and the car kept getting better and better. If found my self getting closer and closer to Marcs Reedy race set up from 07. I will put the whole set up on for the next time out. This car is awesome.
Cant wait to run with you, hahahahaha should be fun

My car is in surgery right now after a hard weekend Had the tip of my AE wrench snap off in one of my droop screws Then had a tie rod issue (all my own fault) Then the frequency conflict before the main that cause all the major damage. This surgery should only take a hour or two tops but with kids and basketball practice and homework we will stretch this into a few day process. It will be all ready for some more fun at the Reedy points race in two weeks after I purchase a couple of items. Gotta find some droop screws and the bushings that go into the C hubs.
Rear Diff
I love my 415, but I hate my rear diff... I've got more rear tamiya diffs to put in but I was wondering if there's another brand diff that would fit in my 415?I'm a machinist so some modifying is no problem. Thanks in advance!

I had that happen a couple of times racing on carpet myself. I thought it was because I got the car used. I plan on rebuilding the diff with new parts very soon. I plan on trying out the 16 ball diff tryhard mentions on his page.

I've been wanting to buy a 415 mre, but a liitle hesitant about it. Got some questions with 415's pro, can i install the 416 front hubs?If I go with the short reversible arm what else do i need to replace? will lipo be an issue?
tnx guys.
tnx guys.
I'll sell ya my MRE hehe. But, you will have issues with lipo packs. You might can get away with an SMC 4000 pack if you grind down the bulkheads. Or if you use Orion packs with the "pocket" in the center of the pack. Or you would have to let the battery hang way over the edge of the chassis. The main issue with this car is the rear bulkhead clearance. Not a good car to choose for most lipo packs. Especially if you do not want to grind down the bulkheads. The other option would be to buy the Stickpack conversion kit with different rear bulkheads. Changing to the 416 front hubs requires new hubs, new caster blocks (but old ones do work with altered geometry), new axles, new bearings, maybe new bearing spacers?, not sure about the bushings.
