Shadow: Look at softening the front end, maybe angle the shocks more. With the rear, stand the shocks up more, which gives more grip. Check your camber as well, as you could be accidently running positive camber.
Have you used the rigth spacers? 3mm i think. Look at the picture again i attached at the previous site.
If you can post a pic.

used the spacers and screws that came with the block from tamiya. The block looked all twisted, took it out and put my bridged block back in and has no issues. Car is driving pretty kewl atm so im happy with the setup, just wierd that it bound up when I installed as per instructions.

I cant imagine how the block bound up only after installing it
You own a 416 to right?
There are the blocks already mounted flipedover. So if you have made it the same way, how can a block bound up???
Post a pic of the block please!

Just a quick question to the gurus. How much battery clearance can I get with a msxx stick conversion? I'm going to attempt fitting a neuenergy lipo pack on the chassis. They're 24mm thick. Will they fit? Thanks
Hiya,
I'm thinking of changing out the pulleys on my 415msx mre to the 37T & 18T
ones that the 416 is using.
Are there any modifications involved? Or is it a direct fit with the 416 belts?
Thanks.

I think there was a thread on here a few weeks ago about that. i think it was called "18T pulley on 415MSXX MRE".
i think you have to use a Xray rear belt and a Hotbodies front belt, something like that.

I'm new to competitive on-road touring so please forgive me if this is a stupid question. I think I'm ready to graduate from my TL-01
If given a choice between a used 415 and a new TA-05 IFS-R for stock class racing, what would you choose? I like a car that doesn't need a ton of maintenance but is easy to work on when needed (don't we all). I'm also fairly new to tuning so infinite adjustability is a bit daunting for me as well. I realize the 415 is a full on race kit but what do you guys think? Thanks in advance!!

I would recommend the TA05 IFS R if you are starting to race for the first time, The car is a bit more solid and a bit more forgiving on car set ups. With the 415 or any other high end car it can be easy to throw the setup way out. the 05IFS-R does have a lot of adjustment just like the 415 and can be quite competitive in the stock classes.
Both cars are very easy to work on. very easy access to both front and rear diffs.
Cheers

The IFS-R has the updated drivetrain of the 416. This includes bigger pulleys all around, and the larger, more durable 1050 (10x5mm) wheel bearings. If you've ever raced the old 950 wheel bearings in the 415, then you know these get replaced often...
Anyone knows where I can get the spool? #49358. I was told it'll fit into my Evo V MS.

ive got a std 415 and a 416...worked out the issue i needed another 2mm spacer as it was bending the block down onto the 3mm spacers....only worked that out while building my 416.....

Anyone had the centre one way jam up on their car? I was doing some maintenance on my car on the weekend and noticed a heap of drivetrain drag. After ripping out the front and rear diffs, and noticing it wasn't helping, I check the centre shaft, only to find the front one way pulley to be jammed up. Luckily a hammer got the shaft out of the pulley and some silicon spray got it working again. Weird.
