This week has just been insane here. If it could go wrong it did. I can't wait to get back to the track next weekend and try some new things.

Thumbs up wrap up from the basement

thanks to all you who came in. i hope you fellas are home safely by now. what an awesome weekend. we put down alot of laps, and a big groove for 10 guys. everybody's car (mostly) seemed really good. for those taking notes,

hot lap = goetz
hot run = pulfer

eug,

i told you my car was good, but didn't end up running it much after i made it good simply because i like running my black car. infact, i bettered it (a little) by making it more like the stock ec car. after you left, i ran the stock ec car with the same motor and sticks that i'd been running all day. i didn't get any real hot laps, but i ran 13.0's all the way down on the first run with it. it is absolutely BETTER than my black car has even been. it looks better, and it drives better. toward the end of the run, i was running faster laps, later, than i had been with my black car on my best run. it actually bothers me right now.

eug, kevin, nexus, jiml, - after this weekend, my ec car is the best car i have ever driven. it is out of control. and it looks bad-ass going around the track. it's absolutely disgusting. i'm bringing it (and only it) to the sizzler, and will show you what i'm talking about. it's bananas. more setup changes since my last setup i posted. i have one more tweak to make on it to keep the front end up a little at the beginning of the run when the power is high. when i figure out the best way to do it, i'll post the setup. it's friggin' bananas.

Seaballs, thanks for your help this past weekend. A couple more tenths would have been sweet, but I think my EC was awesome. I kind of screwed myself by starting the week out running Jacos, then switched to new Parmas mid-day sunday. But switching to the Parma tires dropped my best time by a couple tenths, and I was only able to run 4 laps before busting my bellcrank.

That's awesome that you've got two cars to test with, and that the purple car is totally hooked up. Send me a setup sheet when you get a chance. Those changes you had me do, espeically to the rear roll center, was exactly what my car needed.

The Gate was a ton of fun this weekend.

word. happy fourth.

i want to work on the setup more, but the grip won't be quite as high as it was this weekend. it may have to wait until the sizzler. i haven't been able to stop thinking about how good it was. seriously. you know, when you pick someone's car up that is stupid dialed, and you're almost in tears? well, that's how i felt when i ran my ec car at the end of the weekend. gladly, for the first time, it's MY car that feels that way! hopefully it will hold up at trackside with jack.

lata y'all.

Fireworks are a good way to blow off extra toes or fingers
