Default Shepherd Velox ?

Hey all I have been looking for a new 1/8 car and was wondering how the Sheperd Velox is and how it compares to the big 3 (kyosho, Mugen, Serpent).

I have seen alot of chat about getting what the local hobby shop carries parts for but where I live in FL none of the local hobby shops cater to 1/8 on road so I would have to order all parts anyway.

Just looking for opinions whether or not to buy one.

I too at one time comtemplated this decision. When I finally bought my Velox, the build, fit, and feel of the car was impressive. I have been running the car since September and it is very responsive to set-up changes. You won't be disappointed!

We will be having a new shop that is going to support the car soon. In FL. also you can order direct from us until it is up and running. Or we can send you to the dealers that do carry the car already your choice. You are right not many shops here carry any 1/8 scale car kits. On road if it is off road you are in!!!

Default Parts?

Hey TDR, dont feel bad. Seems like anywhere you go nowadays hobby shops are thinning there inventory. I travel alot and find that most race tracks dont have hobby shops next to them. Dont let that make your decision up, this car will make you very happy. And you can find on-line shops that carry the Shepherd parts. You can always find Shepherd drivers too......I know they will help anyone.....Kurly

Default Yes.....

Guys let me just put it very short and sweet. Ive been in this industry a very long time. Ive run some very respectable cars and sponsors in my days. I can honestly say that I have found a very......happy home here with some very good people. IDM engines, you wont find a guy more determined than Danielle. Shepherd racing, Patrick is one of the best. Jerry, what can I say about a guy who is honest and cares about his guys and distributors. Thanks again guys and keep up the good work. Kurly

tdr,

Congrats on your new car. If you need info help on it, you can go on to the MUGEN MRX4-X thread here: http://www.rctech.net/forum/nitro-ro...29-mrx-4x.html
There are plenty of guys there that are helpful, including ones from FL.

Mugen USA also has a Message Board here: http://www.mugenracing.com/phpBB2/

By the way, nice paint on that body!
