Safe charge on your pacs is a 1C rate which is the capacity in mah divided by 1000, so if you have 3800mah pacs, 1C charge rate is 3.8amps (3800/1000).

Yep, that's safest. If they are good quality you might be able to go a little higher, say 4 amps. Watch the temps, they should only get slightly warm until the end of charge, then they should not get uncomfortable to hold in your hand at the end. If your charger has adjustable delta peak, keep it fairly low, ~.05v per cell or so maximum.

Be sure to let them cool off before recharging, 2 hours is recommended. But at the very least let them cool off good.

Is it a single velineon motor? That's a lot of load for that system, probably not recomended.

you would ACTUALLY do better with the stock setup on the E revo. It's way more torquey than the velineon, and thats what an MT needs. in future, a MMM combo would be perfect.

The DX3.0 is a very nice radio for the price.
Make sure you understand how to setup your radio steering servo and ESC.
Hopefully you have someone in the area that has experience with RC and would be willing to go through the system for you.
You would not want to hurt or ruin any of your new stuff with improper end points or something.

thats how you charge lipo he has nimh so i would suggest charge and discharge at 5amp and equalize them every time you use them. lipo is cheaper in the long run. so when you go lipo get a good lipo charger and charge at 1c or just put a decimal point between the first two #s and charge at that amperage that will equal 1c
