Finally after "building" some kits one is actually near completion. This one is complete with radio gear and servo's unlike the other attempts I've have lately at building something that actually works. There is an outstanding issue. This is a race roller and Losi (well actually the 10 year olds in Asia) who built it forgot two screws that hold the front gear housing to the chassis. Soooooo.. that's a showstopper until I can track those down. I also need a new starter box, in the meantime I hope to at least get it fired up and heat cycle this engine a few times. This my first Losi, all and all I am quite pleased with it, I'm sure it will drive well. If any Losi folks are going to the track soon let me know, I might bum a couple off starts off of your box.

Take off that steering servo horn and pick up the Losi alum one "the plastic will strip quick on the truggy". You might want to get the 2.0 center diff mount that doesn't require the alum inserts. I would also pick up an outer filter for the filter because they get dirty quick. I would think about getting the 2.0 rear gear box also so you don't have to get the inserts for that too. Other than that enjoy!! The truck looks great!

Thanks! So these 2.0 parts you're referring to are the ones off of the buggy? I'm going to order some spares so I'll get the steering servo horn in aluminum and some spare front arms. Which actual parts of the 2.0 rear gear box do you recommend? Which work on the 1.0 T chassis?

The buggy and the truggy use the same dif cases. The new Cases http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/30436 have shimable diffs, so the inserts don't wear out right away. They will bolt right up No problem. You will also need shims.http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/30456

The center diff mount has plastic inserts on the 1.0 T that wear pretty fast. The new 2.0 Diff mount doesn't have the inserts so they will not wear. It will also bolt right in. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/30433

I don't think you will need any arms, but it can't hurt. I've beat the living piss out of my 1.0 buggy and never had any of the arms break. I know this is a truggy, but the losi arms are pretty tuff. Like I said it can't hurt to have backups.

By the way you can pick up the whole center diff mount with the new brake pads and throttle linkage on ebay. I picked up 2 sets for $15.50 each.

Crap hum you might want to consider getting the M2C rear hinge pins because the stockers bend pretty easy. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/16263

You can also get the 2.0 rear carriers and the losi rear hinge pins, but you would still have to drill the arms.
