Yeah, it would be cool for backyard bashing with a buddy, but I can totally see 15 guys walking around the track combing the surface while I'm trying to maneuver my B44! Total chaos!

Don't worry you made the right choice. At some point the breakaway panels are going to be damaged to where they aren't going to stay attached to the rest of the body. Then what do you do? If that is the look you like then cut the fenders off your new hardcore and be done with it.

I think it's a great gimmick but should not be allowed to be used for racing.

Seems like it would be more trouble than it is worth. Especially considering how many times I've watched my friend flip his Slash just trying to turn it.

What i'd like to do is fill the open spots up with scrap lexan and make it detailed so when a panel comes off, you don't see chassis, but an aluminum panel, etc.. but, the problem is i don't know where to get a flat sheet of lexan.

That is what I was just thinking.

Think about it, you have a field of Slash's and half are racing these bodies. There are alot of pieces to pick up and then to find the owners of those pieces, oh boy.

If they kept is a separate class(which kinda sucks, splintering classes can spell death for them!) then it could be fun to replicate scale crashes. You could put various sponsors on the panels, and stipulate that you only win if you have at least one of your sponsors left at the end of the race!

Most of the damaged CORR body panels i've seen don't come all the way off they just kinda flap around, atleast for a few laps anyway.

LMAO im sure if your a basher it would be cool , but if your at a track racing its gonna be a time waster between rounds when people have to go out and try to pick up all of the body panels that fell off. Dumb idea in my opinion.
