Default Help TC3+ MOD

New to nitro picked up a used TC3+ and would like to widden the wheel base and gain a little ground clearance with some bigger tires.
Using some exstensions or whatever it takes I know it sounds a little crazy but where theres awill theres a way.
If exstensions will work I will probably have to go with a rear exhaust after looking at it. With the wheels turned all way left I only have about 3/8 of an inch clearance between tire and pipe. With the way I am thinking of I can go back and forth with the way I drive it.
I'm sure theres somebody out there as goofy as me that has tried it.

anybody with pics of a ntc3 converted to a LMO (late model outlaw) the 4whl.dr
I have one, and thats exactly what I want to do to it.
Mostly I want wheel spacer sizes for bigger tires and thus more ground clearance

Not sure on what you are talking about but I put 1/8 scale Mugen wheel/tires on my old NTC3 along with a .21 that I fitted and this car was a ROCKET. It was more of a fun car since there's no more 235mm classes around anymore.

thanks for the reply, what I'm looking for is what is needed to get the chasis higher of the ground, only way I can think of is longer axles to get tires away from the chasis and then I can put bigger ( taller tires on it which will bring the chasis higher. after looking I dont think spacers will do it, it will have to be longer drive axles

get some threaded shocks, move the collar down as far as it goes and then you should be atleast 10mm off the ground any higher and you wont be able to control it. it will just roll

if you wont a buggy/truggy go out and buy 1 you wont be able to convert a NTC3 into a off-road car that is why it is called a on-road car. you wont be able to convert ur NTC3 because its chassis is the wrong shape. you wont be able to get the clearence needed

Thats a complete waste of time.

That shows a vehicle that cant handle on the street or off-road. A useless vehicle.

Buy a truggy and put some rubbers on it for some fun on-road bashing if you really want clearance.

Default NTC3 MOD

I can and will convert it!
I just want to be able to run it on a dirt flat track or in the grass if I want to.
I dont have the money to go out and buy that exspensive toy.
I got the NTC3 in a trade for some HO trains that I had $75 tied up in.
I will post pics once I get it done to prove your wrong!
The bigger tires will give me the clearance I want.
Some positive input would have been nice.

Heres a conversion for the electric tc3...Maybe it will work with a nitro version...I thought about building one but I have`nt gotten around to asking the manufacture of this conversion if it will work with the NTC3..
