Default Truing 1/12 tires

what are you guys truing your new 1/12 tires down to?? I tried truing some down with my max mod truer but it wouldnt let me take much off before the screw on the truer bottomed out.

Fronts - 45mm or 1.8 inches

Rears - 48mm or 1.9 inches

Is it always good to keep .100" difference in the size of the front and rear tires in 1/12th scale?
