Finally doing a rebuild on the T3R, I have been driving it awhile, and after I pulled the electronics out I realized wires loose and a barely holding on cap.. SO I was like, I mise well shorten some wires and send the Tekin in to get freshened up a bit I really want to go speed passion on the ESC and use the tekin for something else since were running no timing or boost 17.5, notice the large pinion Anyways, here are a couple...

Why do you have the purple things under the screws ??
Is it just for show , or is it part of a screw kit ??

With the servo wires, which end do you guys shorten them at and do shorter wires make any difference to performance or heat?

i always shorten at the servo end, i doubt any difference in terms of performance or heat tbh
