Default Lipo Cut-off

What is the proper cutpff voltage for lipo's? I see many different opinion's on this...anywhere from 3.0v per cell to 3.5v per cell. The instructions that came with my Neu energy cell's indicates 3.0v per cell is where the speed control cutoff shpuld be set. What voltage cutoff will kill the cells?

3.0v per cell, so the cut off would be 6.0v for a two cell LiPo. 7.0v if you want to be on the safe side.

I run mine at 6.2 - 6.4v to have a safety margin. 3.0v is the accepted minimum voltage, but I want a little margin to protect my batts.

Quality cells they usually tell you 2.7v is the absolute minimum. Prob is where you're near the limit, current demand may drive voltage too low even when the lvc has been triggered. The other thing thats becoming evident is you get better life (cycles) if you don't take lipo to the cutoff every time you use it.
