lets here what you have to say on setting your cars up for race day. technicalities, not tire choice.
how do you choose shock oil weight?
how do you choose your camber amount?
how do you figure + or - camber is best?
how do you choose spring rate?
shock position/angle?
toe in/out?
shed some light for those of us who are just getting into really tuning our rides.

Read each page of this (not just a quick skim the .pdf at the end) and I think you will find all of the technical information you could want. You will find that tire choice is the first and most critical step. I keep a copy of the pdf in my pit box when I need some help.
Good luck.

I've been trying to get a grasp of off-road setup myself, so far that's the most complete guide I have come across.

if i ever have questions i refer to the xray manual.. i do not use other peoples setups unless i am totally lost. when i get a new car i start with my own neutral setup and see what happens from there

There is also some good info at the back of the Losi XXX-4 manual. Tells you the positive and negatives of all of the main set-up adjustments.
