hi guys i see 'LHS' being used quite often but don't know what it means. Can anyone tell me please?

IMO = In My Opinion (IMHO = in my honest opinion)
AFAIK = As Far As I Know
PITA = Pain In The (you know what)
IIRC = If I Remember Correctly
ATM = At The Moment
There's tons more, but thats all I can think of ATM :P

With the exception of LHS, these acronyms as well as emoticons (smileys) have nothing to do with the hobby. They have been around as long as the internet and IRC chats have existed. FWIW (for what it's worth) the acronym IMHO is really "in my humble opinion".
