If running 10.5, 13,5 & 17.5 with the V1.5 & Stock spec software you will need the heatsink and fan. This is straight from the KO Propo USA site themselves.

I was running on a large gas track with massive straights and was running some insane FDR's with cold air temp and only 5 minute races.

On a small track I would perhaps start in the mid to low 4 range and temp at 3 minutes or 2/3rd of what your race time would be.

its 120' by 70' i believe im not looking for the highest possible gearing. I want something that will have tons of rip and also high speeds in the straits. its different for each profile, and im wondering what everyone else is running and trying to get some good recommendations. I tried running mid-low 4's today and it wasnt cutting it. It needed a tad bit more rip and quite a bit more top end. any suggestions?

Hi..

I have the BMC v1.0 and use it mostly in low turn mod racing, the speedo works flawlessly. There is a couple of 17.5/13.5 races i would like to race, and wondered if i would be at a disadantage with the v1.0?, i see earlier in this thread before the v1.5 came out that people were having success with the v1.0 in 13.5/17.5.. It would be too much of a hassle to ship this speedo back for the v1.5 and the time it would take as well, just to race a couple of 13.5 races. Will one be slower with a v1.0 with timing 2 and the appropriate FDR?

Thanks Ya`All

What timing numbers are you running on the speed controller ? I was running 6 on the speedy and down in the 3's for FDR still and motor was coming off at 120F. Had good speed down low and really good speed up high.

The last race weekend for me I was running a 3.88 on my TA05. I am still running BMC 1.0, have to send it in for the updates, but I had the timing set to 2 using a LRP 17.5 Spec motor, non adjustable timing
I probably could have gone up one more tooth, but it felt pretty good

I have yet to update my ESC. I believe that I have the timing advance set to 1 on the ESC. With my Orion 13.5 last week, I was running a 4.8 FDR and was pulling on a Trinity Duo. My car was just as fast as or faster (Don't know exactly) as a LRP SPX or SXX? with a Hacker 13.5. I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of additional timing.

My esc casing is cracked. Is it user replaceable or do I need to send it in?

thanks.
