What are some setup or driving techniques that everyone uses to get through the rough sections? It seems like everyone gets through them faster than me. I am looking for tips and tricks here....

soften your shocks, less bump steer, more kick-up, less anti-squat, lower rear camber links for more roll, lower rear diff fluid, less droop, lower ride height if the track isn't too bumpy.

SPEEDSKI- could you explain what roll centers do. I have no clue what they do.

SPEEDSKI

Roll Center are basically the point at which the front and rear of the chassis rolls. It is affected by suspension geometry. When the chassis rolls it shifts weight to the outer wheel and helps that wheels traction by putting more weight to that wheel. You adjust this with your camber links in the rear and changing you kick up in the front depending on you suspensions design.

More rear roll will give you more corner traction and corner steering.

I use the rear link more than the front on my RC8 due to the fact the front doesn't have links. Hope this helps.

As far as driving style in rythym sections with succesive jumps i try to downside the landings. If you come up short it pretty much stops you, if you overjump it upsets the car for the next jump and throws off your timing. This takes some throttle control but with practice it will get easier. Also keep your wheels pointed square to the takeoffs. This helps you keep a straight line through the section so your not jumping diagonally across the track, which kills your lap time. In rough sections i will peek at it while i track marshall and observe which line or lines upset the cars less.

Which one should I get? I need a Super-Truggy, or did you get the last one?

Mine had a red cape when I bought it and a big S on the chassis.
