How to tune Engine for night driving

Well Guys, i can admit it. i slapped my self in the face tonight.
I did bad on both qualifiers, i didnt finish either of them so i was in the b main, but i got bumped up for winnin the bmain and it was gettin really chilly so i leaned my motor a little. Then i went to the amain and i was workin my way from last place and when i reached 5th out of 14 i flammed out. My pit guy couldnt get my car to stay runnin and i thought of the fourms and i told him 2 lean the hsn and it started right back up. he didnt richen it enough and it died again but i did end up finishin but almost in last. So i will admit that I WAS WRONG. Im glad i learned this way with a used cheap motor then with my GRP motor im waitin to put in my 8ight 2.0 i got
