Default What pipe would be closest to an OS 2050?

I'll be running my Vspec in a truggy on a super tight track with short run ups. I'd like to find an OS 2050 as it sounds like the perfect pipe for me but I can't. Run time is not an issue for me, I want max low end grunt and easy tuning. I know the 2060 is a good pipe but I really want the type of low end I hear about with the 2050. Are there any pipes that would give me what I am looking for?

since runtime is not an issue, and max bottom is, the JP3 is great mated to the OS, and runtimes arent that bad really. I have always liked the Jp on the OS, and they sound mean to Great bottom out of this combo. Good Luck

I've heard the RB 2045 with the long (98mm) header, will give great bottom end on OS engines?

I actually have a well beat up JP-3 but no header. Can't hurt to try it.

Any opinions on the TTR 2035? Good bottom end?

Saw your post on other thread and sent you a pm. I haven't seen any other pipe come close to the performance of the 2050 on a non speed v spec. Our lhs has had one in stock for a long time. Sent you the info. My 2050 like new or i would've snatched it up. Also heard more 2050's will be released around jan. '09. Don't know how true this is.

Hobbico announced that the Mark Pavidas edition 2050 has been taken out of retirement. Check Tower Hobbies for availability. Or your LHS should be able to get it if they have an account with Great Planes.

Best regards,

the 2050 is an awesome pipe..but people are right the jp-3 wouldn't have been bad either. my buddy runs one on his spec in his truggy and gets @ 9minutes on a tank

I love my 2050 though runs good on the os, picco, and nova p5's

I think the TTR 2035 is the same pipe as the associated pipe. If it is it will kill or smooth out the bottom.

The 2050 is a great pipe but I think the JP3 has more power, atleast on my modded vspecs. You have both so try them out.

the 2050's run excellent on the os engine but most people can't find them as they've been discontinued twice so the jp-3 is a common alternative. the ttr pipe,eb mods pipes are also supposed to run good on the vspec bu i've heard many times the 2050 is the best for the engine and i've seen a few run with them they are fast

Funny thing is I have a JP3 pipe already. I hear the 2050 has alot of grunt, and the Vspec will be in a truggy so I thought it would be best.
