I am not familiar with O' lube but our Eureka Lube was made for 1/8th scale diffs. You only need a little...4 dabs on the ring gear. Many pros are using it.

Don't use the OD "O" lube on your diffs...I do use "O" lube on pivot points like, hinge pins, sway bar pivot balls, rod ends, and such..... for diffs i would use a thin grease like Eureka lube,, or don't use any..

Mobile One Synthetic Grease
use it on the outdrives too, where the seals ride

Mobil 1 is VERY thick, and will create heat. Before i found TKO's Eureka lube i ran it dry without a prob... The lube just helps promote a smoother ride, with less resistance/drag. don't use the "O" lube on ur diffs.

I use Tamiya's ceramic grease on the diff gears. I'm pretty sure it's just lithium grease.
