It looks like a good car, if someone gets me a good price I will probably buy one . If I did I would need to find a good home for my NT1's once I tested the car .

Another EC picture off Facebook today...

It's interesting that the solid bumper is gone, replaced with the foam, so maybe some testing of various bits happening, with the size of the event, and number of practice sessions, likely a good chance to do so if it's not been run through everything yet, hopefully the kits we get will be the better for it.

Actually second thing I noticed in the latest pics, side belt looks like it's rubbing a lot on the manifold...
For both steering and throttle servos?

In the car shown pictures of, or what I plan to use in my car?.

I'm fairly sure Robs cars is using both in the picture shown, not sure if it's what he is using at the EC this week.

For me, yes I plan on using the Savox SC1251MG for both my throttle and steering if they fit, I have one in my electric and love it, should hold up to nitro duties, and a few people are going that way now.

Ok, curious photo of the day is...

Main shaft blocks have what looks like -2 on them, also mismatched in colour (not anodized I assume), maybe the belt rubbing, or lack of side brace in question, so are they tweaking the position of the shaft in final testing, hence the -2 marking???.

Ok I'm bored, but did find the picture interesting, I just want them to finish the EC and ship out something I can buy already...

maybe the shaft has been lowered by 2mm ...??
...maybe pietsch is trying drive radios as the ones by Capricorn... so that the spurs are smaller and the shaft can be lowered

What I find more interesting is the size of that brass weight on the right

You post editor you, but my email alert caught your original comment...

I was going to say, well more ability to position weight where you want it, though hell yes that back weight is a monster...

in Pietsch we trust.

-2 ay?....i think both hypotheses above sound good, the baulk/brace moved inwards might mean more flex, but...

-2 lower so that the drive train is lowered sounds logical also, but with smaller gears the shaft needs to be closer to the engine, so -2 doesn't sound like a logical marker to distinguish, unless of course it is also -2 lower lol

who knows, as long as it doesn't have the same gear stripping issues as the 4, i think users will be happy.

If I were to guess the -2 was probably part of a revision to the drivetrain from the original. I have a feeling the spur gear sizes were changed on the fly and resulted in the need to lower the 2 speed shaft to compensate... Which I am all for

And Pietsch does a sweet second Qual with 31 Laps in 7:06.232, taking the top spot for now, though with some rain predicted tomorrow, it could be the best qual time.

Wischnewski was so close though right till the end, and would have taken second spot but it looked like he went out before the finish, costing him a lap.

Salven at mid session or so was also looking great till something must have knocked him out.

But I must say, if you look at Dirks pit time, like nearly a flat 18, must have a lighting pit man.

http://events.redrc.net/
Redrc first to publish a page should wait until the end of the day. In the first qualifying Shafer Patrick has made 31 / 7:11:444 followed by Petsch 31 / 7:11:455 ... very little. In the second qualifying Pietsch 31 / 7:06:232.

The best lap should be to W. Dirk: 13:370
Pietsch : 13:428
