This is the translation with respect to the MTX5

AMR: The next big event of the season is the European Championship to be held in Italy in Cassino, Will Mugen Team use some updgrades on the MTX5?

Robert Pietsch: We will have new upgrades on my car in Cassino: A new chassis, new engine mount, and we plan to use a new material for the gears.

AMR: About the MTX5: We know that the Mugen MTX5 has had several problems with gear stripping issues among its users: These issues have been resolved?

Robert Pietsch: Yes, I think the problem will be solved with the new chassis and the new gear material coming soon.

Am I right that I did saw somebody else post a picture or URL link of the rear support brace before?

it seems like Robert is 9th fastest..saw it somewhere in Facebook..im not sure if the new parts affect the car performance..but we'll find out soon enough..i personally feel that the car was built like that, with alot of flex and such..im guessing with the new parts..it does change the car's characteristics..well i might be wrong though..

I bought evo chassis, and have a 54 laps (around 25 minutes)test run before. No gear thread damages(No stripped gear), even jump up and bump up. I've uploaded the movies to youtube.

search the movie in youtube "EVO ET2401 CHASSIS MTX-5 54 laps test run", there have 3 video clips( part 1, part 2, part 3)

It's likely the chassis and mount are to address concerns about too much flex, with the chassis perhaps a little easy to hold a bend in that area, I'll be curious to see if Rob runs any of the mods come the main races.

Fellas I don't think he was saying the belts r the main problem.....useing the rubber belts helps...I have run all rubber belts an still have had a problem....I think the stiffness of the chassis is key...brace or engine mount...now how much does effect the car we don't know but u might have to alter your setup....the gear problem is killing mugens sells...I know Guy who wont touch it because of that...but after all the problems r done an there have been a few...its a good car...an a fast car
