Ran the BMI for the first time tonight, and all I have to say is DAMMMN. There is very much a different feel to the car as it scoots around the corners. Even though the NTC3 rack was one hell of a pain, I liked the feel.

roll_tide, protc3 answered your question. I have the stock package, battery brace package, and the 3mm upper deck, just FYI.

Yes blakeypoo, I should be running this weekend. Trying to get Rodney to go as well. Kevin says he misses you.

Got to look out... John and Kevin were on fire tonight

protc3 I went to post some pics but it says my files are too large and I don't know how to make them smaller. I need a little help. Damn computers, I love them when I know what I'm doing and hate them when I can't figure something out.

I built my new BMI last night, excellent craftsmanship and fit.
Everything went together perfect, including the installation of the NTC3 rack? My rack does not bind or rub at all, fit perfect?

Question, what length collars are you guys using under the top deck where the long screws go into the diff cases where the side braces used to go? For now, I just screwed it down until it snugged, but if I went further it would start to force the top deck down. I am looking for the right length collar as a stopper.

Jason, do you have these in aluminum?

I will take some pics of it tonight and post it up.

My kit had collars. You should have 4 small aluminum collars and the standard 4 long ones that connect the top plate to the to all four corners of the chassis.

Hey does BMI make a blue battery brace, a blue bumper brace, and a solid blue top plate (no holes cut out)? And what are the prices?

Yep. I think the front brace and battery brace are 19.99 each in colors. Top deck is 35.00 or 40.00

Blake,

Are you running at Ultra Sunday? If so, and I'm able to make it, I'd like to see the BMI XRAY.

I am going to be purchasing a BMI chassis soon. I was wondering if you guys running the BMI has to change the setup of the car from the molded chassis to the BMI?
I will be running carpet, foams, stock and 19 turn class.
thanks
Joe
