I know that I am racing ( BMI ) and Darrin Johnson ( BMI ) are both racing at the worlds, and as theisgroup say's most of the racers are factory pilots, so you will not see much of aftermarket chassis.

Jason- I tried contacting you today and your secretary or office lady took down the number. I will be working from 10-5 Saturday so you may reach me by my cell during that time.

Tim Potter:

Hi,

Good Luck racing at the worlds and pass the same along to Darrin Johnson also. (ok I know I am a little late........must be the meds).

Ray:

Hi,

I will call you Monday am. got Q's again.

Jason:

The Xray worked great this weekend. Mini put in the A (4th) and finished 2nd. being his first indoor race with a short arm car it went really well. all I need to do is break the Kart mentality (sp??) in the corners. he did set fastest lap twice. (in one race) driving a Stratus 2.0 on carpet (normally a very pushy body on carpet). waitng for the Alfa's to show up to see what one he will like. anybody looking for some TC3's????????

Thanks

Anyone who has a BMI Pro 4 and races stock foam on carpet, the setup I'm running now is MONEY. Our inaugural race at RSJ raceways with brand new CRC Ozite was intense. The traction was incredibly high for a club race, grip being about the same as the halloween classic (so I'm told). I qualified 3rd behind Brian Jucha and Kevin Kane. Us three were consistently extremely fast all night. The entire A-main was all shaft cars, TC4's and Pro 4's. PM me if you would like my final setup from last night.

TimXLB, we took Darren and the 2 Aussies out for dinner last Friday night, They all enjoyed the trip over to this part of Fl. We met up with them on Sat. for the mains. Darren finished 3rd in his main. They were looking forward to the awards banquet when we left them on Sat. A 9:00 am wake up call today confirmed they had way to much fun at the end of the race. Darren didn't make the A/B main but had a great time anyway. He raced like it was the A and gave it all he could. BMI and New Zealand should be proud of him. We are!!!!!!!!!! Those guys raced the best in the world and were happy just to be there...and Potter was as good as I've ever seen. He said something about knees knocking but kept racing !!!!! Took guts to race knowing the whole world was watching you!!!!!!

Yeah-thats it-thanks lite-speed.

I have been trying all kinds of whacky set-ups on my BMI Xray and have had curious results as of late. But-learning all kinds of stuff with it.

Yeah-I am. I am thinking of going back to the 350 though. I am actually on hold with Jason to discuss that right now. split chassis has tremendous steering and front end bite. Killer for mod and 19t.

i was thinking about trying the split. I have been running alot of 19t and we are starting to run open mod. I was having a little problems getting enough steering and actually increase the steering travel to like 80%. Because of that I was hoping the staggered battery setup would solve my problem and I can reduce my steering travel back to normal. I think the 350 just does not move enough weight around. I think the static weight distribution is great, but just did not move enough weight forward to increase my steering enough.

thanks for your input.

Default BMI2 Carpet

Guys, the BMi2 on carpet is amazing. I have been playing with minor different setups, and comparing alot. Alone last week I raced three nights, changed many things, and coming to a rock solid setup. Keep reading! I managed track record, and shooting for the individual lap record/ off by .1 of a second. Not much. Just so EVERYONE knows, my home track will be the home of the '05 ROAR Carpet Nationals held @ HobbyChamber.com, on March 17-20th. See you guys there.
