Want to share some results from this weekend's ROAR Region 2 Championship Leg #1 at Debbie's RC World in Chesapeak, VA. The weather this weekend made things a bit interesting, but after two rounds of qualifying Michael Gee TQ'd modified touring car, and I at least got a top 7 run in 17.5 TC. Gee had a bit of rough luck in the main and finished 4th. I drove from the back up to 5th overall in 17.5.
Gee provided his high roll center style setup.

Thanks FJ. Car was very easy to drive, and also soaked up the bumps in the sweeper nicely. The higher roll centers for me are easier to drive for asphalt than the low roll centers, so I think it might be a good option for someone looking for an easier to drive car

Can someone explain the shock graph that's in the manual? When I try to plug in numbers from a setup sheet I get a different value for the suspension stiffness then what the setup sheet says.

Your higher roll centers remain the same but you will get the increased camber gain after such corrections.
Please note the ST24 in this setup as we should use the most lower upper inner balls to hold your initial roll centers level.
It will be interesting to test this corrected setup with your 2 deg initial camber and with reduced (1,5-1,75 deg) initial camber also.

Please input the correct spring ( S or STD ) and SRS/RHS ARR ( I or II) data in the setup sheet.

One point, in the USA with spec tires, we are unable to run big amounts of shims on the am06/am06s. the default 2.75mm will rub / grind into the p01/p02 when running Sweep or Solaris spec tires. Ive run Solaris Hards, Solaris mediums, Sweep true blue 32 and now just this past weekend Sweep OG 40.
Do you have any feedback with this point??
Mike
