They do sell them separate on the Awesomatix website, and seem to be in stock.

Also anyone have any experience with Blitz bodies? They were brilliant on my 1/8 onroad, very good quality, just wondering how the 190mm bodies are.
I used the first one mentioned above, but it doesn't seem to be on Schumachers website anymore, mine dates back to when I was still running an Mi3 but sadly I destoyed it on Sunday at Rug Racers .

As a replacement I now have one of these (lightweight version), will see what it's like at the weekend;

My A700 is fully build and ready for action...

By the way, three questions:
- On my 4 dampers, only one have a small silver shim just under its "symetric screw", is that normal? Should I let this shim or remove it?
- How could I measure droop (= downstop) on this car (the setup says 26mm...)???
- Is it possible to buy only the four dampers?

Thank you very much...

i tried the car for the 1st time last night was pretty happy with it.I had a couple of issues with the gear diff (chewing gears) which has been all sorted now.I ran kit setup which had good turn in but was pushing mid corner and exit.i softened the front damper and that helped allot has a good amount of steering i will try longer links next which im sure will improve the stability and steering.but overall happy with the car didnt have that much track time due to the gear diff problem.i am impressed in how good it reacts to changes.

Just measure the droop from the bottom of the wishbone as any other car.

Yes you can buy the dampers separately.

You have possibility to shorten SB25x8 screws by 0.2-0.3mm with broach file and remove small silver shims after that.

Lous Speedway is a dealer (in Canada) and started bring them in. He might have one in stock for sale, but not sure how it costs.

Cheers.

I have same problems in ETS Round 2 (Italy), with the advices of Laptev I found a good setup with antiroll bars, very soft dampening, front and rear kick-up, more droop

Just a quick update from the TITC practise.

Myself and Tom have been working away pretty hard on modified settings, and both are now running the car the same... and feel very happy with it, good corner speed, and good reaction... no hint of traction roll yet either. I've got down to 16.1's, with Tom cracking 15.9's, with the fastest mod boys doing consistent 15.6's, so to be that close to the pace is very pleasing.

Tracks really really busy, so it makes it difficult to get a clean run in, which is certainly making it tricky for me to get in a groove, as I'm sure there are a few more tenths to come from improving my lines and so on. Car itself has proved to be very tough, given some of the unfortunate incidents leading to meeting's with the concrete wall.

Plan for tomorrow is to play with the rear link heights a little, then work on refining the damper and spring settings. Anyway, settings as of now attached.

Regards
Ed
