Anyone know what the differences are in the various Exergen temp guns?

DX501 is the newer latest style Temp gun = http://www.exergen.com/industrl/dxseries/index.html

D501 is the older style Temp gun= http://www.exergen.com/industrl/dseries/index.html

I was looking for functional differences. Or do they both have the same features. Thanks for the reply

I have both, it seems DX501 is 10 time faster response than D501.

the DX model is faster but the D model is more accurate and precise
