I'm cutting mine with a milling machine. THe window will be 1/4-3/8 larger than the opening and milled down the thickness of the case so it will be flush. I then plan on gluing it with either silicone caulk or shoe goo. Maybe JB weld will be stronger? I sometimes put my other quasar pro charger on top of the gfx on my pit tabel, it needs to take some abuse.

Maybe you could look around for a window mod kit for a pc. It has the moulding and everything you need to install it. I have found several but not the shape and size I need.

When the GFX is plugged into the computer, what variables can you look at?

I haven't done it yet, but John may be able to help you. If I were to guess maybe charge ifno like it shows on the graph while charging/discharging.

what do you think John?

Hmm, I was gonna say that the ultimate mod would be to hook up a 4" LCD to view those on, maybe flush mount it with the top of the charger

Do you need any software to view the charging parameters on the cpu?

I think you need Hyperterminal.

Just go get a Compaq or HP Pocket PC

Where are you guys putting the LED fan, and can you actually see it when it's in use?
