Mr ninja .21 offroad head shi question
I picked up a Mr Ninja off of Ebay for next to nothing I raced it last night and it ran pretty good but it really dosent have much compression. My questions are
I took the cooling head and button off and its got 1 thick head shim, I don't have calipers to measure it. Can I run it without any head shim to gain some compression. I do have 2 real thin shims that came with my new GRP that I know will fit.
I was told to take my motor over to M2C Racing and have it pinched?
The motors tight newer bearings just not the greatest compression is 1 option better then another?
Can I get away with just removing the head shim totally or will it mess up the timing.
I run Byron gen 2 in all of my motors
Thanks
Robb

it will mess with the timing....best bet is to send it off and get it pinched. should not cost much..i know a guy that goes by the name of osrocket and he does a great job.. do a search on him and you can find him. he lives in lexington, ohio...

Calling All Mr Ninja .21 owners Head Shim ?
So what will happen with no shim? It changes timing but how much?
Thanks for the input! I really would like to hear from someone that has tried it?

I stand corrected
Sorry I looked at the button again and there are 3 thin shims so my question remains; what happens if you remove 1 or 2 shims?
