The reciever has been pinched for use in my 808 for the last few dry races of the year. Need to get some JR connectors to shorten up the servo and esc leads.
Just finished adding 140g of weight to bring it up to 1500g, plus a bit for tyre wear.

Any good base setups I can try for rubber tyres on indoor carpet tracks and also outdoors.
How come you have no screws in the rear of the front diff caps?

the cvd's in the front aren't in the spool outdrives... both are speed secrets

Anyone know what thrust bearing from another car I can use. I think I remember someone saying Losi but I am not sure. It is because I have rebuilt the diffs and they are still gritty so I'm thinking it is the thrust assembly.

Yeah, the thrust bearing on this car seems a bit sensitive so be sure not to overtighten your differential.

Its the losi thrust. Dont use the washers that come with it. Use the old ones from the xray.

make sure you put the thrust washers back on the right direction! The diff will not go together properly if you dont.

To those of you who typically race on outdoor asphalt, how do you typically set your ride height? My car has been feeling as if it does not grip, as if it skating over the surface and not biting down and I am beginning to wonder if it has something to do with ride height.

Another question, do you guys typically run with or without anti roll bars?

One more thing, to those of you who do not want to fork over the money for the XRAY ECS shafts, the Atomic versions (Which I found in the US at HKS Hobbies) are a good substitute for less than half the price. The Atomic ECS shafts are surprisingly very well constructed, are 50mm and move freely without any binding. I recently purchased 3 XRAY ECS shafts ($150) but was unfortunately never able to run them with any success.

Here are some photos:

It could be your tire sauce that you are using... I learned that this last weekend...FX2 doesnt like very hot conditions.
