Post Dura Trax Evader Ext

This is a thread just for the EXT model post your pics and your coments. Only possitive coments, no negitive ones. When people call Dura Trax Duracrap the reason is they have never owned one, so don't listen to them. Thanks for posting, I've got the orange one in the picture.

I just bought an Evader EXT Truck a week ago. It's on the workbench right now waiting on a rear axle and suspension arm. I punished it for three days straight and went through over 20 battery charges to do it. It's a very tough truck despite the fact that mine is waiting to be fixed. I landed it wrong off a huge jump and that landing would have broken something on any RC truck. Luckily I can just send my parts to Duratrax and they send me new ones free

Now i'm working on upgrading it to race. I just ordered the bearing kit and bought some new rear tires as the stockers were wearing out fast.

Talking Cool

That's really cool, I got mine last night and I just got the batery charged. I'm at my cousin's at the moment, but when I get back I am going to run it for the first time. Good luck racing

Oh, sory I have the Exb, but basicly the same thing. My mom took me to the hobby shop to "look at rcs", but it turned out as soon as I looked at it my mom bought it. I saw videos of it and it looked awesome. I heard bad coments from friends but they have never actually owned one so they're just going with the flow. I've only had it for a day and I am going to run it today! Ya!

Don't let them run you down about having a vader. Sure it's not the top-level of RC, but not everyone wants to sink 600 to 700 bucks into a Losi or Associated race setup. You won't find a better vehicle for 120 bucks RTR and the ability to upgrade everything.

Plus since they copied the Losi XXT-CR to make the evader, many of the parts from it fit the evader series.

For bashing it looks like a great truck for $119. there is a guy on RCUniverse selling them for even less than that.

If you are getting it for him to race with, get him the standard version, not the ext/exb. It has all the upgrades you would do for racing it already on it

threaded aluminum shocks
ball differential
ball bearings
adjustable camber links
universal driveshafts
