what brand are the cells? Is this a stick pack or?

I would agree and say 5-6 amps depending on brand of cells.

i use 3 packs from only battery packs .com(4500mah) i charge them at 6 amps. all my packs still top out at 9.2 volts since new.i have had them for almost a year and used them about twice a month. as long as you put them in a discharge tray(novak smart tray equalizing se dicharger)and equalize them, they will last a long time. always leave charge in your battery packs. never discharge them and store them for long periods of time. if you have a stick pack, i would not charge it over 4.5 amps.

You've had good luck with onlybatterypacks.com? I ordered from them but have not received my battery yet.
