One thing to consider guys is that we may not be seeing their exact setups. Most of these pictures are being allowed to be taken and while I do believe that these are their "real" race cars they may be changing a few things to be a little secrative. There are a lot of laptops in the pits and with the coverage at the event no top racer is going to want to have their setups exposed fully. At the 2004 worlds, I think it was, one of the top driver's had their race car hidden but he had a second car right in front of him so everyone could see that car.

Checking out Hara's spring preload, perhaps having longer shocks allows the piston to be lower in the shock body and allowing more travel. Looks like he is using TC bulkhead covers, which are taller on the TC and the WCE towers, which are taller than the TC.......laying the shocks down will also make the shocks longer also. Just a thought.

As for ackerman, it looks pretty aggressive setup, running a lot of ackerman?

I agree, I have seen this happen too...

I can understand the need for secrecy as a lot is riding on it and racing these guys all year round, if someone has a slight edge, in now way would they want them to find out..

So as far as this being the winning (or TQ) setup, who knows, maybe it is, maybe it isnt. I wouldnt be photographing my setup at a world title before the finals, especially being TQ.. Knowing HARA, the bastards probably laughing at us all right now talking about the "wierd setup" and the commotion its caused hahaha

cant wait for the finals though!!!!

For all around nice guy, it'd be awesome to see Elliott Harper up there somewhere
