Well, despite the many complaints in this thread about the top two finisher's "special" tyres - it is good to see such a variety of tyres and other equipment getting drivers into the A-final. Perhaps the WC really was about driving skill after all - I know nothing about Matsukura's background (at 14 how much background can you have!) but Levanen is an ex-Euro champ in TC, and the A-final is full of world, european and national champions.

The Finns certainly seem to have it going on. Given the size of their country, they are disproportionately represented. Is it an anomaly, or is their organization back home doing things exceptionally well? And what are those things?

I have a feeling that we will have a shocker for this years worlds. My sleeper is Teemu but we'll have to see how this pans out. But you heard it here first. The favorites will not be the last man standing.....
