Great job by the Motorama crew for a fun event!

The other stuff going on at this Motorama event makes it worth coming
to even as just a spectator. I got to see some really good other types
of racing, car shows, robot wars, etc (I missed the bikini contest). If
your wife or girl friend is of the jealous type I'd suggest leaving her
home though... Motocross, car shows, kart racing, etc brings out some
hotties! ....LOL

Congratulations to all the winners this past weekend. Job well done!

Also BIG thanks to the guys from out West that traveled to this event.
Us folks in the NorthEast really appreciated your attendance coming all the way out when there was another big event going on only a short drive away.

It's amazing how many entries there were for this event (I believe over 450) while the Nitro Challange at the Nitro Pit pulled 490 entries on the same weekend. I hope that is a sign of of R/c being really big this year!

Default MOTORAMA RC 2009 Total entries (including electric and rock crawling)

Guys this is Jasen Wyche the initial announcer for the Nitro racing (until I lost my voice). After a long (very long) weekend I would like to thank EVERYONE who participated in this spectacular event. With every large event there are issue that are encountered, but it how the issues are resolved that can make it or break it. We did the best that we could and we have all learned from this past weekend. No doubt we have taken it all in and we will be prepared for the 32nd Annual Motorama Races and shows. Believe it or not, each round was finished ahead of schedule including the mains. The track held together with minimum track maintenance. With plenty of spectators, cooperation by all that raced, hard work by the organizers Luther and Tony, Brad for allowing the RC racing to take place at Motorama again, the dynamite track crew, the flawless RC Scoring program, Live RC by Brandon Rohde, Ray Murray for the Electric scoring, top notch drivers from all over the country and the product support from the manufactures makes Motorama one of THE events to participate.

Now to the numbers. Entries for the weekend including electric and rock crawling:

462 Nitro entries
112 Electric entries
39 Rock Crawlers

Total Entries = 613

Now that one heck of an rc event.

Thank you everyone.

Jasen Wyche (also known as that guy in the trailer doing the registration next to Tony).

Jasen W. you are one of the guys that without you would be very hard to pull this event off. You did a outstanding job and had to be the most calm person there. Thanks for doing such a great job of allowing the event to flow and be ran as smooth as it did. Your a big plus in my book. I hope you plan on it each year.

To the guys asking where the jumps are late last week, watch the video Marcus posted.

I had a great time. I seen a couple pro's that I recognized, but I didn't get autographs(I felt intimidated by them, maybe I didn't feel comfortable talking to a pro who makes 6 figures, with me making 9k last year), maybe next year.

Who knows, I may even change brands next year to Kyosho, as I really want to get up close and personal with them to check out the fit and quality.

Was there anyone running .28 there is either buggy or truggy classes? and did anyone run NiMH w/brushless in electric truck?

Great pics and congrats to all the winners, congrats to Odonnell, Kyosho, Team Associated and Jammin.

www.liverc.com has all the final results. Once on their site, click on view broadcast, then in "premium events" click Motorama, at the top you'll see a row of tabs, click results, then click the main you want to see then at the bottom of that click on view race file. This will open in a different window.
