just got home...had an ok time.....man the track was difficult...for real...lol

the only thing i got to complain about is that i disagree with the way they did qualifying....you should be placed in order of laps you ran and how fast ya did it in 5 minutes...not by how you finished in your qualifier...i had a guy in my main that had ran faster then me....i was in the g main.....and there were guys that i ran faster than that were in the e main....?---whatever...had a good time..but next year i will run electric instead...

Qual Points reward being consistent, not just fast for one qualifier.

Thumbs up

That was fun watching. This was my first offroad race(pro type)I have ever been too.I wasn't racing but I did watch. I think I was the only long haired hippie there. Maybe next year I'll have my current vehicles there, RC8, RC8T, RC10T4. It is a three hour tour to get there.

There was no shortage of them there..... I could even smell the hemp coming from the tents in the pit.

I don't know how many times I had seen people over shoot turn 2, and 4 ( I would of done same thing) I left there as the last race was just about to start. My ride got cold and decided to leave.
I was wearing a black pull over hoody with a silver white tribal symbol on the front, full face beard and stash.

Unfortunately guys rocket rounds is very rarely used at a big event, qual. points is used at almost all large caliber races. It creates the challenge of being not only fast but on consistent basis. I have been at races where I put in 1 good run that would have put me in the show but did not make it because of previous bad runs.

I'm guessing you're asking about me? I was sitting mostly over near the log section turn by the back side of the track. I will be posting a few here and there...but for the most part, the absolute best of the best of my pics are going to RCDriver mag for their article. I'll be happy to post or email the pics I send to them once, and only when and after that article is released. Keep in touch

Qual points are NOT based on how you finish in your qualifier, it is based on your time against every driver in your entire class, per round.

For instance, If I run a 7/5:07 in round 1 it doesnt matter if I win my heat if you run a 7/5:06 and finish 3rd in your heat. you will get a better score for that ROUND of qualifying because you where faster in that round.

Qual points are in my opinion the most effective way to run qualifying for many obvious reasons. There is simply a misconception as to how it all works.

I do agree that the track was every bit of challenging, I loved every minute of track time i got on it!
