This is easily remedied by running 103 front end parts and 103 wheels/tires.

With the release of the Wolf f1,that's what they will have anyway..right from the Tamiya factory.
I wonder what their plans are for that chassis as far as tcs racing goes.

Has anyone seen the new nitro 1/10 scale F1 from Kyosho? It uses the Spada 09 motor and old school bodywork... It look like a neat idea... I'll post pics later... It's called the KF01

I posted a link to that a while back... All I heard from it was crickets. But I thought it was super cool. I dont know if you guys are using Google Chrome as a browser, but the auto translate feature sure does come in handy.

Saw this before and as a Spada owner there are a few issues with this idea.
They are using the Spada tank on the F1,so you are looking at maybe 8 minutes of good run time, then you have to refuel.
The alloy chassis will bend the first time you hit a board, tweak will be a problem. The rear axle holders are very weak, the stock Tamiya F103 gear box is stronger. The whole rear axle pivots on two tiny screws, that rip out of the stock plastic holders often.
The F1 parts on the chassis are all Cross parts,Wings, suspension arms, tires, wheels and body.
Cross parts are good but one thing about Cross front suspension arms is that they dont mount like Tamiya front arms. So you do have to use the Cross arms, and that can be a problem if you cant get Kyosho or Cross parts where you live.
I think they could of did better, this seams to me that they just tried to jump on the F1 bandwagon recycleing some old parts and throwing in a nitro motor.
Kyosho made some great 1/8th F1 cars, they should just dust those off and make them again.

I remember those cars and they were awesome! The did a Ferrari 641 and the Williams Renault FW14. The cars were gorgeous and very scale. Your'e right, they should bring them back!!

Both have massive support here in japan. I love both cars, 103's are alot wider and 104's are narrower and more scale realistic! There's also a slew of other available f1 chassis's if you can't decide.

Cheers mate
we are starting a tamiya f103 or 104 class at our local club as a controled class , we were thinking the 103 might be better as the battery is more towards the back of the chassis bringing more weight to the back wheels ,
but dont reckon that would be that much of an issue , although our track is fairly tight i reckon it will suit an f1 class wicked and cant wait

Where is the heck is Fussa anyway?

About the question. Hands down F103 performs better, mainly because its wider.
