If I could get a 1/10th scale driver figure, I would be tempted to do a "taxi" body.

Guys,
Trying to get an F1 class going locally. I'm running an older F109 (for now) - what rubber tires would you recommend on CRC Carpet, medium traction, small track. thanks in advance

Looking for brand and compounds ? Ride? Tamiya ? Sweep ? What are people using.

tobamiester, I can totally +1 that. Ed recommended those to me and I tried them for the first time, they stick like freakin' glue! Can't go wrong with those on CRC carpet.

F109 is a 200m wide chassis , so you should go for Pit Shimizu PS-0541 front PS-0545 rear (it's difficult to find PS-0542) , they are the same rubber than PS0571 - PS0575 for 180mm chassis.

For an F109 start with Pit Shimizu 541/542.

Same rubber compound as the 571/572 F104 tyres, but the 541/542 tyres are sized to fit the F109. The F104 wheels and tyres are too tall at the front and too narrow at the rear for the F109 unless you swap the front end out for the F104 narrow front end.
