Are you cleaning the wheel and tire mounting surfaces before gluing? What glue are you currently using?

I clean my wheels and rims where they need to be glued with a good wax and grease remover or with motor spray. I've been using either the AE tire glue or the AKA. Havent had any troubles with them coming unglued ever. I do the same thing for offroad. Cleaning the tire is very important as most tires have a lot of residue from the mold release agents.

I've tried a couple of the Hobbytown USA glues lately. I tried the black rubberized glue. Its complete garbage. Waste of money. Recently I've been using the purple bottle of HT glue. It has a slower set time which works out great for the Pit Shimizu tires on Tamiya foam wheels. I only use this on the outter bead as the inner bead is super easy to do and I want it dry asap. I really like the purple bottle stuff.

Anybody do the 1984 Alfa Romeo Benetton decals for a f104? More than anything I just want the Benetton writing and the logo for my modern take on the livery.

I should be able to make the Benetton ones for you. PM me, and I'd be happy to help you figure out what we can put together.

Yes there is an F109 under there...and the F109 shell with Tamiya Bennetton B192 front and rear wings. The sticker set is the Tamiya B192 with some carbon sheets used for the inside of the rear wing.

And yes a few upgrades to the F109 from kit

Not meaning to derail the thread, but I figure there are plenty of US Formula 1 fans in here. Like so many US F1 fans, we've been wanting to get our hands on the DVD or BluRay of the movie "Senna" that will play in a US Dvd player. I wanted to share that the Senna documentary is available on Netflix right now under "watch instantly". One month free trial so If you its free to watch if you cancel before one month.

My fiance and I watched it last night. I've been a F1 fan since I was a kid in the late 80's and watching the movie was like stepping into a time machine. Throughout the whole movie I was only hoping somehow the ending would be different this time. We both loved the movie but agreed it was so powerful, it would be some time before we watched it again.
